Beta Israel Village: a copy of a traditional Jewish Ethiopian village where we will learn about traditions and customs, and the heroic story of the aliyah of Ethiopian Jewry. A vegetarian kosher lunch is included.
Beit Nir: The Shek Musuem where we will learn about and see the works of one of the founders of the kibbutz and about his art.
Beit Nir: The basket weaving workshop of Herzl Auster The itinerary: 1. Kfar Beta Israel – Exploring the Ethiopian community in Kiryat Gat – the visit includes lunch 2. The workshop to create handmade shoes, by Einat and Stefan in front of Sarigim, 3. The Moses Moshe Shek Gallery at Kibbutz Beit Nir 4. Herzl Oster, a basket-making artist at Beit Nir.
Pick-up stations: 1. At 7am at the bus stop in front of Zichron to the south 2. At 7.20 at Netanya Junction, descending from the interchange to the south 3. At 7.30 at Kfar Shmaryahu junction (near the forum) 4. At 7.40 in Cinema City (on the west side of the road to the south) 5. At 8.30 the bus terminal at Namir Road 6. At 9.00 at the Commimitim junction at the entrance to the Commemorations train station 7. At 9.30 at the Masamya junction to the south
The companies coming from the south (from Omar and the surrounding area): We ask that you come to Beta Israel (in Viz: Zinc Boulevard, Kiryat Gat industrial area) and from there you will join the bus for the rest of the trip. We would like to emphasize that the bus will leave Zichron Yaacov and Namir roads at exactly the specified hour. For the times stated in the intermediate stations, please arrive at the specified hour. It may be a little late due to the mode of transport, but it is better to get ahead than before. The bus is from the Sheba Company Shuttle service.
