About the Association
The Israel Patchwork Association was founded in 1992 as a non-profit organization, with the aim of promoting the art of patchwork in Israel and bringing its word to the wider world.
Quilting art, also known as quilting, is basically the fabric of traditional or innovative techniques, handmade or sewing machine to create blankets, bed covers, decorative pictures, storage accessories, etc., as well as the imagination and creativity of the craftsman. These three-layered and interconnected pieces of traditional or artistic upholstery are now on display in many museums around the world and wander between changing exhibitions.
Membership of the Association is a diverse range of ages, professions, occupations, and residential areas, which for the most part is a hobby for leisure, some of which deal with it professionally.
